The article "Future Development Trend of Multimedia Network" written by a

group of Chinese authors : Li Huang, Kai Zhang, Wei Hu, and Chengcheng was
published in 2018 on IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering
(http://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/1757- 899x/466/1/012080/pdf). This
article discusses future development tendencies in multimedia including the
application of multimedia technology, characteristics of multimedia technology
teaching, and the future development trend of multimedia network teaching. The
writers have effectively supplied information and expertise regarding future trends
in education using multimedia technology to help readers grasp this subject.
However, some terms have been not explained clearly which can interfere with the
process of receiving information from readers.
Multimedia, according to Li Huang et al, is a medium that disseminates material
interactively and integrates two or more medium. It can analyze and transmit text,
music, images, and video, among other things. Multimedia has had a huge
influence on people's lives, with multimedia becoming inseparable from daily
communication, entertainment, and transportation, particularly in education.
Furthermore, the authors stated that the many qualities of multimedia technology
in education include diversity, real-time, vivid dynamic display, and increased
student excitement. Teaching will rapidly incorporate multimedia technology in
the future, with the use of technologies such as virtual reality, artificial
intelligence, multimedia communication technology, 4G technology, and cloud
computing technology. The researchers concluded that the need for multimedia
technology is becoming more and more intense in all areas of life and there will be
plenty of colorful multimedia applications in the future.
The article is always updated with the latest reliable data source so that readers
can easily access information from it. The research was carried out by four authors:
Li Huang, Kai Zhang, Wei Hu, and Chengcheng Li. They currently collaborate
with the College of Computer Science and Technology, the Wuhan University of
Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, and the Wuhan University of
Science and Technology. They have prior job experience in technology, language,
computer engineering, communication, and intelligent information processing. As
a result, when researching the subject of multimedia technology, readers may rely
on the information's veracity. The authors' goal is to contribute to their field and
report on current events. They do this by the use of highly specialized academic
terminology in multimedia technology that needs readers to have a prior
understanding of the area to comprehend it. The paper is presented in a coherent,
standard format of a research paper with a thorough analysis of the authors'
argument that future multimedia will have a great influence on teaching. The
authors also use diagrams and evidence from other researchers to increase the
credibility of their information.
Their article also shows many different aspects of multimedia technology such as
application, characteristics, and the future development trend of multimedia
network teaching, and is retrieved from other technology experts. In addition, the
opinion of the research is completely objective. In short, this research paper has the
strong point that information is drawn from many different sources, for example,
Morden electronic technology, Guide of Science and Education: electronic version,
Computer Measurement, and Control,…. As a result, the research will have the
quality and credibility of the information, from this reason the research is quite
objective. Another plus point is that the information given in the research paper is
written concisely, clearly, and deployed in the focus of the topic, which will
become quite useful for readers.
However, there is still a minor issue in this article. It includes some key terms:
multimedia communication, AR Technology, …related to this research, but it has
not been clearly explained. This lead to some difficulties for readers to receive
information from authors.
In conclusion, through the use of information from a variety of sources, specialized
and clear language, and much reliable evidence, this article has done a great job in
indicating successfully the development trend of multimedia networks in the
future, particularly in teaching. However, there are several essential terminologies
relating to this research that have not been adequately described, which might
impede the process of gathering information from readers. Overall, this is an article
that deserves to be received by readers
