The Prophet Issue

Hello everybody, I am here today with a huge ongoing THE PROPHET ISSUE. This
is being ooded in every nook of our day through media or social media for a couple of
weeks. This issue started due to indecent comments on the Prophet by some national party
members. Let's get into the details of this issue.

The Con ict

The dispute started by declaring a sculpture in a water pool in Gyanvapi Mosque as
Shiva ling by Hindus. The Gyanvapi Mosque is in the same compound as Shri Kasi
Viswanath Temple a famous and popular pilgrimage among Hindus. Thus Hindus are
claiming that the sculpture is Shiva ling. Then somebody kept a case in the court about
permission to pray inside a Mosque for Hindus too. That ignited a spark in both the
communities and it went on for weeks it is been a local issue and an issue in some parts of
India. Then one-day national spokesperson of the present government in power attended a
debate on the National channel regarding the Gynavapi issue. Then in the verbal war without
any hindrance or control the spokesperson made super uous and sickening comments about
Prophet. That made whole Muslims in India and Islamic countries re upon India and
demanded an apology.

The History & Backdrop

The Kasi is very well known as the spiritual capital of India. For many years, yugas
the city is standing still and is also been referenced in many spiritual texts as a holy city. It
used to consist of hundreds and thousands of temples. As centuries came passing there are
many wears and tears and rulers for the city. Until a Muslim ruler with barbaric and
substandard thoughts destroyed the pious and heart temple of Kasi, The Kasi Vishweshwara
Temple. He even built a Mosque without even remaining the remains of the temple and
named the mosque over the well of the temple, Gyanvapi.
After many years, In 1991 one person led a case in a local court regarding
that the Gyanvapi mosque belonged to Hindus and should be given to Hindus by evicting
Muslims for doing rituals. This has gone dormant for a further 28 and another petition has

 appeared before the court in 2019, to conduct an archaeological survey in the mosque to
prove that it belongs to Hindus. This has been settled until 2020 when ve women led
another petition in the court to allow them to perform rituals for the idols. Then the court
ordered to survey in the Mosque which proved a Shivaling in the Mosque which is now
seized.
On 16-May-2022 the report said that there is Shivaling in the Mosque. After this,
there are a lot of T.V debates and riots regarding this issue. Some T.V debates are more
heated and TRP-oriented without having any sense. This Spokesperson attended three such
T.V debates which had only gibberish conversations and comments. In which one of the hosts
warned them not to make comments on religious beliefs. Then comes the worst part in the
late-night T.V debate where both the representatives of Hindus and Muslims made
disrespectful comments about each other’s God. In the heat, the Spokesperson of the Nation
party who is representing Hindus made unacceptable comments about Prophet. That red a
rage in Muslims.

The repercussions
Social
The comments took the Muslim community by storm. There were a lot of people out in the
riots and protests, demanding an arrest and an apology. There are many stone-pelting and
incidents of blazing public properties. Many public properties are damaged and in many
places, lathi-charge and tear gas use is reported. Problematic place taken into police or army
control and 144 section is imposed.
Diplomatic
Many Islamic contras condemned the comments made on Prophet. They requested the
prosecution of the person and also demanded an apology from India.
When we get to understand the relationship of India with Islamic countries, it is a
huge and vast relation from past years and should be continued for many years to come.
Most of the oil comes from GCC(Gulf Cooperation Council). A large number of people
from India work in Arab countries from which crores of remittances come to India every year
which increases the Indian economy. Many people made a trend on social media to “Boycott
Indian Products” We have a market value of $87 billion with GCC.
The Actions
The Indian diplomats have said that” Some Fringe element comments aren’t the comments
of India.” And said there will be no apology from India.
The In power national party issued a statement which said” The Party strongly denounces
insults of any religious personalities of any religion. The Party is also against any ideology

which insults or demeans any sect or religion. The Party does not promote such people or
philosophy," it said in a statement.
The spokesperson who made comments and a leader who supported the spokesperson is also
removed from the party.
An arrest warrant is issued to the spokesperson and the spokesperson issued a public apology.

Some Questions which gnawing me

1. Is a party national spokesperson a “Fringe element”?
2. How come a party which respects all religions didn’t take action against the spokesperson
until there is an international outrage?
3. How can a person centre off all this predicament in India be missing?
4. Why should Muslims get the Thofa or gift of getting their houses demolished and getting
merciless trashing by police?
5. What if the trade and people in Arab countries get trounced due to this issue?
6. What if the diplomacy with countries affect due to this?
7. How can a party's national spokesperson utter such indecent words without any fear?

Finally, the king demolished the Hindu temple and constructed a mosque on the ruins of it
with the insolence of his power. So, now we have the power so we want to get it destroyed
which is symbolise person or majority who has power can do whatever he or they wants. If we
don’t stop it, it continues for everything that is out there. We are setting an example“Get to
power and whatever you want get it done.” Recently, a temple is being constructed in Abu
Dhabi. If a Muslim country is allowing us to build a temple there why can’t we allow a
mosque to exist? We ourselves destroying one of the great features of India-Secularism.
Think and act for the sake of India. At least for once see or get to know our “Preamble of
Constitution”.
