Power Supply System
The power supply unit inside the F01S200 cabinet consists of the AC power distribution unit (PDU),
DC PDU, terminal block, battery (optional), and battery heater (optional)
General Power Distribution (When an ETP4830 Power System Is Used)
The AC power cable is led into the cabinet from the bottom of the battery compartment, and then
connected to the mains AC circuit breaker in the AC PDU of the equipment compartment. The AC
PDU divides the power supply into 2 channels:
1-One channel is fed to the battery heater (optional).
2-The other channel, after being converted to –48 V DC power supply by the ETP4830 power system,
is fed to the DC PDU. Then the DC PDU supplies power to the service units and enhanced heat
dissipation module (optional). In addition, the DC PDU provides 1 output for the battery to implement
battery management.

ETP4830 Power System
An AC-powered cabinet uses the ETP4830 power system to convert the AC power to the DC power for
power distribution. The small and modular ETP4830 power system supports easy installation and
maintenance, effective LCD interface management, and excellent security specifications design. The
power system supports a maximum of 30 A output current.

NOTE
The battery charging status can be float charging or equalized charging, as described in the following:
-Equalized charging: It is a method that fully charges the discharged battery quickly by constant voltage
And limited current. The voltage is usually set high. This method balances the capacity among batteries
In a battery group
-Float charging: It is a charging method that preserves full charge for the battery by constant voltage.
The voltage is usually set low
Battery Heater
Two battery heaters must be configured when the F01S100 cabinet is used in the area where the
ambient temperature is below 0°C.
AC PDU
The F01S200 cabinet is configured with a built-in AC power distribution unit (PDU). The PDU draws
in power from the AC mains supply, and implements AC power distribution and power supply
protection. The AC PDU consists of a surge protector and circuit breaker

Surge Protector
The surge protector provides over-voltage protection against lightning for the 220 V single-phase power
systems. It protects the power system and powered devices against the surge voltage caused by
lightning strikes

DC PDU
The DC PDU leads in the –48 V DC inputs from the ETP4830 power system and provides four DC
outputs, each output controlled by a separate switch.

Temperature Control Principle

The F01S200 cabinet provides a built-in temperature control unit for heat dissipation and heating. The
temperature control unit controls the temperature inside the cabinet within a proper range and ensures
that the service unit inside the cabinet functions properly.

5
Heat Dissipation
The F01S200 cabinet uses a wall-mounted heat exchanger, meeting the requirement for heat dissipation
at varied ambient temperatures (not higher than 40°C). To enhance heat dissipation, the F01S200
cabinet can also use an enhanced heat dissipation module, meeting the requirement for heat dissipation
at ambient temperatures higher than 40°C.Cool air enters the F01S200 cabinet through the bottom of
the cabinet, and hot air exits through the top of the cabinet, as shown in Figure

Temperature Control Unit

The temperature control unit inside the F01S200 cabinet consists of enhanced heat dissipation module
and a heating module.
Enhanced Heat Dissipation Module
The enhanced heat dissipation module is an optional configuration. It is located at the top of the
Cabinet and addresses the heat dissipation requirements in environments with ambient temperatures
higher than 40°C. The enhanced heat dissipation module includes two 92 mm outdoor water-proof
cabinet fans and a fan monitoring board. The fan monitoring board automatically adjusts the fan speed
by monitoring the ambient temperature through its temperature sensor, implementing heat dissipation
for the cabinet.

Heater
A heater is not a mandatory component. It is installed in the battery compartment. The heater, with the
battery heater as the main component, provides heat for batteries. If the environmental temperature is
lower than -15ºC, the heater must be configured.

7
Monitoring Principle
When the F01S200 cabinet is configured with service units, various sensors collect information and
report the information to the control board of the device. In this way, the F01S200 cabinet monitors the
environment, power units, and other main components inside the cabinet.

the SMU01B monitoring module monitors power status in real time and reports alarms to the control
board. The H831VESC monitoring module monitors in real time the environment parameter values
reported by the sensor connected to the monitoring port on the device and reports alarms to the control

8
Sensor
The built-in sensors of the F01S200 cabinet monitor various environment parameters of the cabinet.
Specifically, the temperature controller monitors the temperature inside the cabinet, the door status
sensor monitors the door status of the cabinet, and the battery temperature sensor monitors the battery
temperature.
Temperature Controller Relay
The temperature relay monitors the temperature in the cabinet in real time, and reports an alarm when
the temperature exceeds the threshold. When the temperature reaches the range of 67°C to 73°C, the
temperature controller is disconnected and generates an alarm. When the temperature decreases to the
range of 57°C to 67°C, the temperature controller is connected and cancels the alarm.
