DIRECTIONS: After reading the DepEd's mandate, you are going to reflect and respond to
several questions in the succeeding pages. Carefully read the questions and respond in 2 to 5
sentences. Use the space provided for your answer.
QUESTION 1: As a newly hired teacher in Deped, what can you contribute to promote quality
education?

I need to get acquainted with the Department of Education as a new Teacher. To make sure
that I am promoting high-quality education as the department desires, I must first keep in mind
and internalize the mandate, mission, vision, core values, and strategic direction of DepEd.
Additionally, I'll make sure that I prepare and provide in-depth courses to the best of my ability.
Additionally, I'll establish a setting that encourages learning in the students.

QUESTION 2: As a newly hired teacher in Deped, what can you contribute to uphold equity in
education?

Making this career my passion will allow me to serve the public with all of my heart by
making sure that anyone who needs education can always find me. In order to allow the
youth who are not in school to participate in the teaching and learning process, I can also
volunteer some of my free time to them. By making education available to everyone, I
will be extending my service to the various types of students.

QUESTION 3: As a newly hired teacher in Deped, what can you contribute to respond to the
needs of the learners?

We have a diverse group of learners, so I can only be flexible and adjust to how they
want to learn now. However, they must recognize that being unique can be a strength, so
they will learn the value of appreciating individual diversity, and it should begin with
me as their teacher. As a result, in order to address each learner's individuality, I must
follow Howard Gardner's idea of multiple intelligences, which demonstrates how
distinct each student is. Giving differentiated tasks that take into account the needs of
each learner I have would also help me to address this.
