Narrative: Election and Election Related Activities

Inclusive Dates: May 3-10, 2022
Polling Place Venue: Budburan Elementary School

The election preparation was needed to have a better peaceful result of election. In
accordance with this, we did the following activities from preparation up to the Election
Day:
 May 3, 2022 – FTS (Final Testing and Sealing), where the materials like the ballot
box and the VCM were collected from the COMELEC and transported to the
polling place to test the VCM validity and to ensure that there is no defect.
 May 5, 2022 – Final Briefing, which was administered by the Election Officer,
Marie Grace B. Sibayan to remind everything about the role of each EBs and other
staffs for the Election Day.
 May 8, 2022 – Checking and distribution of supplies – other materials needed for
the election day were checked and collected from the COMELEC staffs with the
help of the Treasurer’s Office
 May 9, 2022 – Election Day- This was the long day work from 4:30 where we
received the official ballots, opening of the VCM for voting and assisting/
organizing the line of the voters to implement the IATF Protocol.
 May 10, 2022 – Submission of election reports, where the reports submitted at past
1 in the morning, including the returning of the ballot box and VCM.

The COMELEC did an organized system in seminar, distribution of materials up to

retrieval of these materials. I did my job as EB (Support Staff) based on what task was
given to me with all my strength and knowledge.
