The vocabulary used in the first text is informal and full of imagery; however, the second
text is formal and technical as it talks about more on the equipment making it more specific. The
sentence structures as well are different. The first text is narrative as it narrated thee story while
the second one is informative as it inputs a lot of data about the specifications of the equipment.
And lastly, the topic sentence of the first academic text is lengthy and full of imagery while the
second text was specific and is direct to the point.
