REFLECTION ESSAY
Reflect on the statement below and give your OWN PERSPECTIVE. Use the space for your
answer.

1. As a student taking up the NSTP-CWTS course, how do you prepare yourself in any
circumstances that may arise in your life? Justify your answer.
As a student taking NSTP-CWTS I will prepare and develop my physical, moral,
spiritual, intellectual and social well-being. And I've realized that NSTP served as an eye
opener to us students, as we become aware of the current situation of our country.

2. How would you promote and preserve its programs and goals? Justify your answer.

I will promote and preserve the program and goals by encouraging youth in improving
their skills, knowledge and attitudes on various endeavours developing their interest in
community service and responsiveness in attaining peace towards nation building.

3. If the government has the prime duty to serve and protect its citizens, In return, what is
also our responsibility to the state? Justify your answer.

To be good citizens by participating in democracy this means VOTE in elections, pay


your taxes, do jury duty when called. But it also involves assisting in the maintenance of
the peace and not acting to undermine civic power, which is where things become sticky.
It all begins with not littering and ends with testifying in court against a horrible individual
in your community. Most of these behaviors are moral decisions, but they nonetheless
include a feeling of "civic responsibility," which is commonly understood to imply
"keeping the peace, not enforcing it."

4. How can CWTS as a subject helps the youth of today? Justify your answer.

The CWTS program helps students to be aware of their importance to the society.
maximize their capabilities so they can use it in their lives. for the government to act if
we can do it ourselves.
