A. Absolute and Relative Location
- Absolute location refers to a specific spot on planet Earth
- Relative location explains where a place is in relation to another place.
B. Relative Vicinal and Relative Insular Location
- RELATIVE VICINAL LOCATION- refers to the location of a place in relation to the landforms or
landmasses near it.
- RELATIVE INSULAR LOCATION- refers to the location of a place in relation to the bodies of
water near it. 
2. Absolute Location describes precise locations of a place based on a fixed point on earth. The
most common way to identify a location is by using coordinates such as latitude and longitude.
