1. Affirmative
SB+ WAS/WERE+ VB ING

E.G I (play) football.- I was playing football.

She (dance) at 4 p.m- She was dancing at 4 p.m
We (have) a shower.- We were having a shower.
It (dig) in the garden.- It was digging in the garden.
They (practice) their English. – They were practicing their English.
You (build) a sandcastle. – You were building a sandcastle.
She (make) a sandwich- She was making a sandwich.
He (talk) on the phone.- He was talking on the phone.
It (eat) a bone. – It was eating a bone.

2. Negative
