submitted feature stories for the CY 2020 DILG Annual Report with the theme
“DILG@30: Matino, Mahusay at Maasahang Paglilingkod sa lahat ng panahon.” Kindly
look into the attached final list of stories per Regional Office.

of your feature stories taking into account the following requirements:
Feature stories must not be more than 700 words
Photos related to the feature stories must be (1) in jpeg file format, (2) saved in
a Google Drive Folder/ One Drive/ Dropbox and (3) include captions saved in
a Word/PowerPoint File.

Relative to the growing threat of COVID-19 and its propensity to infect large numbers
of people through crowds and large gatherings, all concerned offices and
instrumentalities of the Department are hereby directed to postpone and reschedule
all activities that will involve gathering people in a crowd regardless of size. This shall
include meetings, workshops, seminars, and other related events. This is in
consonance with Resolution No. 10 Series of 2020 of the Inter-Agency Task Force for
the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, which recommends the imposition

The postponement shall affect all activities scheduled beginning March 11, 2020 and
shall continue to persist for at least two weeks or until March 25, 2020 subject to such
extensions as the need arises. All future amendments to the postponement window
shall be communicated through an advisory to be released by the Office of the
undersigned.
However, activities falling within the postponement window that are necessary for the
preservation of peace and security, and in curtailing the COVID-19 threat shall be
deemed unaffected, and shall continue as scheduled while observing necessary
health safety protocols.
All are further advised to observe all safety measures as promulgated by the
Department of Health and to cooperate in any efforts of the government to keep the
spread of the virus in check.
