RE: REQUEST FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR MARIA ALEXANDRA

LLORERA

Mr. Lopez:

We are writing at the behest of our client, MARIA ALEXANDRA LLORERA, your acknowledged
illegitimate child as evidenced by her Certificate of Live Birth. Copy of such certificate is hereto attached
for your perusal.

Based on the information disclosed to us by our client, you have provided no support ever since Maria
Alexandra started schooling, as well as regarding her necessities in her daily life. She was accompanied
by her maternal grandmother to attest to this fact.

Support is defined under Article 194 of the Family Code, to wit:

Support comprises everything indispensable for sustenance,

dwelling, clothing, medical attendance, education and
transportation, in keeping with the financial capacity of the family.

The education of the person entitled to be supported referred to in

the preceding paragraph shall include his schooling or training for
some profession, trade or vocation, even beyond the age of majority.
Transportation shall include expenses in going to and from school,
or to and from place of work. (Emphasis supplied)

Our client Maria Alexandra will soon be entering college. And to this end, she invokes her right for
support from you being her biological father to which she is entitled to. To further support her claim,
Article 195 of the same Code provides that parents and illegitimate children are OBLIGED to support
each other.

In view of all the foregoing, we are requesting you to provide financial support in the amount of
TWENTY THOUSAND PESOS (P20,000.00) monthly starting March 2021, reasonably estimated for
Maria Alexandra’s school expenses and other necessities that she is legally entitled to. Given the distance
and the extraordinary circumstances that we are facing nowadays, it is clearly more practical and
convenient that such support be given thru bank deposit, to which you can communicate your preference
with our client as to the medium to be used.

This serves as our FINAL DEMAND for support and for your compliance, otherwise, we shall seek
stricter legal remedies.
