1. Compare and contrast modern science and philosophy of science.

 In contrast to philosophy, which deals with Priori knowledge, science deals with
empirical knowledge. In other words, whereas philosophy deals with knowledge
that is not acquired by experience or experimentation, science is all about
knowledge that is learned through experience, experiments, and inquiries rather
than theory. For instance, you will know that a cat is an animal if you see one, and
you will thus understand and come to the conclusion that every cat is an animal.

Philosophy is an ancient science that was formerly known as full-blooded to our

history of our world. Modern science is our future scientist that we make our
world fashion, or simply "MODERN." It is termed modern because we have our
own analysis to compare it to philosophy.

2. What is scientific method? Enumerate the steps in the scientific method.

 Through testing and experimenting, the scientific method establishes facts in an
unbiased manner. Making an observation, formulating a hypothesis, making a
prediction, carrying out an experiment, and then evaluating the findings are the
fundamental steps.

The seven steps of the scientific method:

1. Ask a question - A question you want answered is the first step in the scientific
method. One of the important beginnings, such as how, what, when, why, where,
who, or which, will be included in this inquiry. Additionally, the query you pose must
be quantitative and susceptible to experimentation. Although behavioral outcomes are
also a component of the scientific process, it is frequently something that can be
assessed with a numerical result.
2. Perform research - Once you've developed your question, you should start to
gather background information to be ready for the experiment. Depending on the
subject you are asking and the type of the background material, you can locate
information through internet searches or in your neighborhood library. You can also
come across earlier research and tests that might aid in your thought process and
findings.

3. Establish your hypothesis - An informed estimate that aims to respond to a

question that may be methodically tested is known as a hypothesis. The predictions
you can test through experiments and study should also be included in your
hypothesis.

4. Test your hypothesis by conducting an experiment - Next, do experiments to

validate your theory. Your experiment should be replicable by another scientist as it is
a technique to quantitatively test your hypotheses.

5. Make an observation - Make sure that the conditions are maintained throughout
all testing procedures by evaluating your scientific method. To preserve fairness, if
you modify one aspect of your experiment, leave the rest unchanged. Repeat the
experiment a couple more times once you've finished it to be sure the findings are
reliable.

6. Analyze the results and draw a conclusion - The results of your experiment may
now be examined to see if they support your hypothesis. Determine if what you
thought would happen actually occurred by drawing a conclusion. In the event that it
didn't, you may formulate a new theory, go back to step 4, and repeat the experiment
to support it. The last stage is compiling your findings and sharing them with others,
assuming that your hypothesis was confirmed throughout the experimental process.

7. Present the findings - Your position and level in science will determine how you
convey your findings. If you are submitting a project to the scientific fair, you will
probably present your findings either orally, in a written report, or on a display board.
If you work as a scientist, you can submit your findings to your superiors or in a
scientific journal.
3. What are the limitation of science?
 Clearly, the scientific method is a useful tool, but it does have certain restrictions.
These restrictions are predicated on the requirements that a hypothesis be
verifiable and testable, and that experiments and observations be repeatable. As a
result, some subjects are outside the purview of science.

The presence of God or any other supernatural being cannot be established or

disproven by science. Sometimes, in an effort to give nonscientific theories like
intelligent design any semblance of validity, scientific concepts are used. The idea
behind intelligent design is that some characteristics of the universe's and life's
genesis can only be understood in the context of an intelligent, divine power. In
order to make their argument more appealing to those who create curricula for
public schools, proponents of intelligent design attempt to present their hypothesis
as a scientific one. But since the presence of a divine entity cannot be verified via
an experiment, intelligent design is not science.

Furthermore, science cannot evaluate values. For instance, it cannot be said that
climate change is negative. While it may research the causes and consequences of
global warming and present its findings, it is not permitted to condemn SUV
driving or the actions of individuals who haven't switched to LED light bulbs.

What do you think is the role of science and technology in our society today?

 The fundamental way that science and technology benefit society is by producing
new knowledge and then applying it to improve human prosperity and address
problems in society.
Without a question, science and technology have sped up and simplified our lives.
Almost everything we see around us, including cellphones, fans, electricity,
microwaves, radios, televisions, computers, wheels, automobiles, fabric, paper,
toothbrushes, etc., is a gift from science and technology. In every aspect of our
lives, science and technology are essential.
Technology and science lead to new ways of knowing. Human psychology and
physiology have changed as a result of scientific and technological knowledge.
Man has the ability to develop civilizations, address societal issues like justice,
aesthetics, and ethics, and better people's lives thanks to science. Technology and
science both advance because of one another. We may develop new technologies,
add to our scientific and technological knowledge, and make new discoveries
about the world thanks to science. We think, feel, and even dream differently as a
result of science and technology. Your working memory, fluid intelligence, and
multitasking abilities may all be improved by using certain technology tools and
programs.
Equipment for treatment and therapy is developed with the aid of science and
technology. Through the development of treatments for numerous chronic
conditions, science has significantly improved health. Technology gadgets have
helped to capture patients' real-time data, instantaneously update their medical
history, and lessen the misery and suffering of their recovery, improving the
treatment of many patients. Through a variety of techniques and equipment,
including x-rays, SC scans, MRIs, surgical instruments, pacemakers, and more,
we gain from technology when obtaining these treatments. We also love using a
variety of fitness tools, wellness programs, and other things that support a healthy
lifestyle.
