1. Some people say that members of Congress should be civil to one another, even if they have different
opinions on important issues. Do you agree or disagree? Explain why.

Yes I agree since they will have many ideas and they could choose one among all and be respectful with
others.

2. What is one social issue that you think Americans should be conscious of? Explain why you think people
need to be more conscious of this issue.

I think they should be a bit conscientious with other people from different countries.

3. Describe a time you felt contrite about something you did.

I feel sorry for stealing something.

4. When have you seen someone be defiant? What motivated them to act this way?

I have seen some colleagues with a lot of motivation and resistance towards anything and I think that
what motivates them is their friends or the people they trust the most.

5. Some students say that homework is futile. Do you agree? Why or why not?

I do not agree since the tasks are an important part in the studies since you memorize the answers for an
exam or a test.

6. Describe the person at the top of the hierarchy in your school, friend group, or another group you
belong to. Why does this person have the most authority or influence?
In my group of friends there is someone we have a lot of respect for since he is a very cheerful and
respectful person and could be considered a leader.

7. Would you describe yourself as idealistic? Explain.

I don't think I'm an idealist because I don't have much imagination or hope.

8. Many parents believe that they should protect their children’s innocence for as long as possible and
avoid exposing them to the problems in the world. Do you agree or disagree? Explain.

in one part yes and in another part no since our parents try to protect us from anything but we also have
rights to be free and have fun.

9. Some people say that the connection between friends is more tenuous than the connection between
family members. Do you agree or disagree? Explain.

I agree because among friends we can tell each other anything and among family members there are
some things that we cannot tell them as a secret or something.
