 LINES OF ACTION
1. Accepting our responsibility for our SAF formation as a
means of deepening our Congregation knowledge and
understanding its Charism and Spirit, we take it with
interest and dedication the Plan of Formation for Sisters
and Lay members.
2. Contributing for the Formulation of the Rules and
Regulations of SAF for stronger relationship among the
members and clear Identity with the Congregation.
3. Collaborating in the Parish and Neighbourhood with what
one is and has to improve spiritual Life, Social Life and
Fraternal relations.
4. Reaching out to the poor and needy in their needs,
especially during Pandemic, natural calamities, and in
extreme needs.
ACTIVITIES
1. To motivate the lay members to attend the Training
sessions and show interest in learning Congregational
matters.
2. To give classes to our lay members giving them the Rules
and Regulations of SAF and to add new ones or improve
the existing ones for better clarity and easy relation with
the Group.
3. To encourage our lay members to live good Christian life,
maintain cordial relationship with Fathers and Sisters, to
support them with creative ideas, time and talents for the
good of the Parish and B.C.C. Community.

INTRODUCTION
 St. Luke’s Hospital Community is situated in the state of
Maharashtra, Shrirampur Taluka and Ahmednagar District.
 Our Community comprises of 21 sisters in the community.
We have activities that are “Healing ministry in the
hospital, Educational and Social ministries in the College
of Nursing and pastoral ministry in the parish. We have 4
student sisters and attending regular classes of GNM.
 In our healing ministry we face the challenges of serving
the suffering humanity specially “The Poorest and the most
Needy” in Ahmednagar District. We work with the
Government scheme of MJPJAY (Mahatma Jyotibha Phule
Jan Arogya Yojana) to provide free treatment to those who
provide the required documents. Though there are many
super specialty hospitals, the poorest sections of the society
come to our hospital for low cost treatment and excellent
nursing care. In our educational ministry in the college of
nursing we give preference to the girls from low economic
families of the locality. We also have Basic B.Sc Nursing.
These once again challenge us in educating the weaker and
the poor students and help them to have a bright future.
We thank God for our special vocation to carry on His
healing ministry in St. Luke’s hospital Community

 GENERAL OBJECTIVE
To live our life and mission centred in Jesus Christ, Bringing God’s dream
to life, incarnating the Charism and Spirit bequeathed by our Founders
and First Sisters, to recreate in the light of our Spirituality and to carry out
the task in the Pastoral Ministry of health which is founded on the
Christian concept of the person, we render our services to the Promotive,
Preventive, Curative, Educative and Social dimensions being prophetic
witnesses according to the Agreements and Challenges of XXIX General
Chapter.
THE EXPERIENCE OF THE THRESHOLD
HOSPITALITY
“No one has greater love than this ,to lay down one’s life for

OBJECTIVE
To deepen the spirituality of Hospitality which impels
us to be mystic and prophets where the poor and
marginalized are excluded, we are challenged to live
hospitality with greatest care,full detail and with all
love in a permanent attitude of total self-giving.

formation and helps us to discern what the sprit tells.
3. To attend seminars and workshops organized by our
congregation which helps us to update ourselves and
moulds us to be deep rooted in our faith.
4. To take interest in knowing the realities of the happenings

Bible and congregation sent by the General Councillors and
Provincial Councillors.
6. To deepen on the materials on Constitutions sent by the
General Councillors in preparation for the General Chapter.
SAINT ANNE’S FAMILY

specific function, so also in the Church, each one has
