OVERVIEW OF AN INTERNSHIP:
• I have also explained about the SBI fund to investor which are
performing better and giving a good returns. So, that they are aware
about the fund performance and accordingly can invest in the same.
• In first two weeks I had an knowledge about the Mutual Fund, how
we can invest in mutual fund, What are large-Cap Companies, Mid-
Cap Companies and Small-Cap Companies.
• On day-to-day basis task I use to get the KYC of the investors in that
case if the KYC is under process, or on Hold, fully registered after
completion of all documents and verification the folio is being
prepared. So in day-to-day operation my work was to check the status
of KYC prepare the folio.
• From last one week I am working under the marketing and sales team
and I have been given training of how to talk with the investors and
tell them about our mutual fund product.
• The task was given to visit the AXIS Branch and talk with the branch
manager officer and relationship manager an to get an SIP done
• I have also attended the corporate meeting with the sir and visited
different banks.
INTRODUCTION:
Mutual Fund Industry in India has been playing a massive role in the economic
development of the country since many years.
How Mutual Funds Work
A mutual fund is a registered open-end investment company that pools money
from many investors and invest the money in stocks, bonds, short-term money-
market instruments, or some combination of these investments.
Mutual fund shares are typically purchased from the fund directly or through
investment professionals like brokers.

Methodology:
This project is done to get the understanding of different avenues of mutual
fund. How the product of mutual is being delivered through channels. I worked
under the sales team and was given the On-job training for more than one week.
