Apple's business model is based on customer-based innovation and the target audience is
middle to high-class families.
  3.1 SWOT analysis
    Strength:
o   Integration of hardware and software:
When it comes to the hardware and software ecosystem their tight closed
ecosystem really helps all the hardware talk or connect seamlessly. 
 
o   Privacy:
One of the companies who focuses on privacy and is serious about it. As we
know the ongoing feud between Facebook and Apple on privacy about the IOS
feature where apps will not be able to track the data. And Find my phone
feature on iPhone is great which helps to find even if it is lost or stolen.
 
o   Customer Loyalty:
According to SellCell research 92(91.9) % of iPhone users are going to stick
with Apple which shows customer satisfaction in this company. (Mahipal,
Report: Brand loyalty at an all-time high of 92% for Apple as Android brands
take a dive , n.d.)

 Services:
19% of revenue of Apple comes from the services they provide which are
Apple Card, Apple News+ and Apple arcade. (Apple SWOT 2021, 2021)

 Weakness:
 Expensive products:
Apple products tend to be higher priced than its competitors. That is why they
are considered to be luxurious. Due to the premium price only middle to the
high-class families can afford.

 Compatibility software issue:


Apple products face various software compatibility issues outside of its
ecosystem. File sharing between iPhone and Windows is hard. 

 Opportunities:
 Technologies advancement:
In future Artificial Intelligence(AI), Virtual Reality(VR) and Augmented
reality(AR) is going to rule the technologies. There are a lot of opportunities
like AR glasses and Siri (voice assistance of apple) better.

 Growing market:
Apple Inc. can grow the market overseas as well. There are many countries
where there is no Apple store, so people buy from the resellers.

 Consistent customer growth:


As the market of Apple increases there is a high chance of customer growth.

 Threats:
 Competitive market:
In this competitive market there are a lot of companies which are competing
with Apple like Samsung, Windows, Google.

 Lawsuits:
Latest lawsuit where Apple has to pay up to $500 million in order to settle
litigation accusing it of quietly slowing down older iPhones as it launched new
models, to induce owners to buy replacement phones or batteries. (Stempel,
2020)

 Outbreak / Pandemic:
As most of the parts of the Apple is made in China due to the whole pandemic
Apple has seen difficulty in delivering the products in time.
