Mark’s busy week.

Mark has a very busy week. Every day he has to get up very early in the morning to go to work. He
has to catch the bus at half past seven in the morning. He works in a factory and he has to do a lot
of things. But before he goes to work, he has to make his bed.

After work he has to go shopping but he doesn’t have to cook because he has lunch in the canteen
at work. In the evenings he has to dust the furniture and hoover the floors. Then he has to cook his
dinner and lay the table. After dinner he has to wash up and clean the kitchen. Then he goes to bed
because he’s very tired after a hard day’s work.

At weekends he doesn’t have to get up early because he doesn’t have to go to work. But he has to
do the washing and iron the clothes. On Saturday afternoon he has to do the gardening and he has
to do DIY jobs. He has to sweep the floors and tidy the house. But on Saturday evenings he doesn’t
have to work. He goes out with his friends and they have a good time.
