 Relationship between both literary texts

The relationship between the poem "Dreams" by Langston Hughes and the one hour story by
Kate Chopin is that both writings or one could say stories are related to feelings and emotions
such as sadness, joy, hope, tranquility and above all fullness, since both texts express more
than anything not to lose hope, since we must not let ourselves be defeated no matter how
strong the problem is or how much the snow freezes us. We must not stop fighting for what we
want and know that even if the process looks dark or negative there will always be a light of
hope and faith that will help us to achieve the happiness and dreams we want.

This poem and story is related to the day to day life of each person, it helps us to rethink not to
fade with the falls and that there will always be a glimmer of hope that will help us.
