As a future tourism professional a sustainable tourism must make the best use of environmental
resources, which are a critical component of tourist development, while also respecting the socio-
cultural uniqueness of host communities and ensuring long-term economic viability. To ensure and to
maintain the sustainable tourism in the Philippines and as for the 6 months rehabilitation that happened
in the Boracay this would help many tourists and our environment to gain many travelers and most
especially coping up with Covid-19 Pandemic.
that when traveling, bring reusable items such as reusable water bottles, travel mugs, a cloth
grocery bag, and containers for leftovers to avoid using single-use disposables.
Individuals, groups, organizations, enterprises, and even governments should lead by example,
raising awareness among policymakers who can effect long-term change on a systematic level.
Supporting local eateries allows you to sample products acquired locally, which is an additional
method to meet new people who are eager for you to enjoy their traditional cuisine.
We should help governments in enacting legislation that better protects the environment and
promotes sustainable tourism, and we should do so on a national and international basis.
When you visit a new place, remember to support the local businesses by purchasing some
souvenirs. You will be promoting legitimate craftsmen and their locally handcrafted items in this
way.
