What additional knowledge did I gain from this research/webinar that I can make use of?

As a future tourism professional a sustainable tourism must make the best use of environmental
resources, which are a critical component of tourist development, while also respecting the socio-
cultural uniqueness of host communities and ensuring long-term economic viability. To ensure and to
maintain the sustainable tourism in the Philippines and as for the 6 months rehabilitation that happened
in the Boracay this would help many tourists and our environment to gain many travelers and most
especially coping up with Covid-19 Pandemic.

One must always remember and applied as a tourist:

 that when traveling, bring reusable items such as reusable water bottles, travel mugs, a cloth
grocery bag, and containers for leftovers to avoid using single-use disposables.
 Individuals, groups, organizations, enterprises, and even governments should lead by example,
raising awareness among policymakers who can effect long-term change on a systematic level.
 Supporting local eateries allows you to sample products acquired locally, which is an additional
method to meet new people who are eager for you to enjoy their traditional cuisine.
 We should help governments in enacting legislation that better protects the environment and
promotes sustainable tourism, and we should do so on a national and international basis.
 When you visit a new place, remember to support the local businesses by purchasing some
souvenirs. You will be promoting legitimate craftsmen and their locally handcrafted items in this
way.
