Course Description: This course is focused on planning function in terms of managerial functions, principles, elements and why planning functions, principles, elements and why planning function must begin with the determination of objectives. The most useful forecasting technique for particular set of circumstances. It also includes the newest / common trend Strategic planning, its growth process and implementation. VIII. Course Objective General: This course will acquaint the students on the importance, requirements and functions of planning in order to make them functional, efficient and effective agents of change in the academic environment. It also provide venue of exchange of ideas among participants from different schools / colleges. Specific Objectives: y Explain the focus of planning y Discuss the elements of planning y Internalize the importance of planning y Appreciate the expected behavior of participants based as performance standards. y Learn to effectively and efficiently implement a plan. y Become functional agents of change in the academic environment.
