Initially the blood glucose level of the white mice was 278..6mg/d and
after the application of treatment A3 the blood glucose level of the
white mice attained 133.7mg/d. This showed the difference of
144.9mg/d.
Based on the findings Treatment A3 was able to achieve the highest
reduction of 144.9mg/d on the blood glucose level of the white mice
being tested. Therefor, the researchers conclude that treatment A3 is
more effective. The researchers recommend that further studies on the
use of Water Spinach(Ipomoea aquatica) Leaf extracts and
Banaba(Lagerstroemia speciosa) Leaf extracts in lowering the blood
glucose level of hyperglycemic white mice. Cultivation of these plant
species is also recommended.
Interpretation: Table 2 showed the Effect of Treatment A1,A2,A3 on
the Blood Glucose level of white mice. It reveals that Treatment A3 has
the highest reduction when it comes to lowering the Blood Glucose
level of white mice.
