 STATEMENT OF THE
PROBLEM:

This study aims to determine the causes and possible solutions on the Dependency of
Grade 11 STEM Students towards Gadgets. Specifically it aim to determine the following:
1.What are the causes of the Dependency of Grade 11 STEM Students towards
gadgets such as cellphone and laptop?
2.How does dependency affect the daily lives of students, in terms of:
a. School works
b. Household chores
c. Academic performance
d. Social activity
3.What are the possible solutions regarding students dependency on gadgets such as
cellphone and laptop?
4. Is there a significant relationship between the Dependency of Grade 11 STEM
Students towards Gadgets and the students’ school works, household chores and academic
performance?
 HYPOTHESES

Ho: There is no significant relationship between the dependency

of Grade 11 STEM Students towards Gadgets and the students’
school works, household chores and academic performance.

H1: There is a significant relationship between the dependency

of grade 11 STEM Students towards gadgets and the students’
school works, household chores and academic performance.
 
 SIGNIFICANCE OF
THE PROBLEM

The outcome of the study will provide the basis for enhancing the adoption of a
new, positive approach to student life and come with the possible solutions that can
be used for commendable change especially when it involves the dependency of the
students on gadget. It may also help the following:

Parents: Controlling the behavior of their children when it comes to gadgets.
Student: Limiting their behavior and to be aware of the problem being addressed.
Teachers
School researchers: This will serve as a supplemental basis for future studies.
