Role Description - Content Writer

We are looking for a Content Writer to join our media team and enrich our media channels with new
articles, blog posts and other marketing collateral.

Content Writer responsibilities include conducting thorough research on industry and placement
related topics, generating ideas for new content types and proofreading articles before publication.
If you’re familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities
• Conducting in-depth research on industry and placement related topics in order to develop
original content.
• Developing content for display-boards, blogs, articles, posters, social media, and the
university website.
• Assisting the training and placement team in developing content.
• Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
• Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.

Requirements
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.

Role Description - Graphic Designer
We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our media team. You will be designing a wide variety of
assets for our offline and online media channels.

Graphic Designer responsibility includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and
creating graphics including illustrations, layouts, posters and photos. If you’re familiar with
producing online content and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you. Commitment and
punctuality are qualities that are non-negotiable. Feel free to share samples of your work or
portfolio of your design work, along with your application.

Ultimately, your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the
right message.

Responsibilities
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
• Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style
• Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
• Test graphics across various media.
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.

Requirements
• Proficiency with at least one of the required desktop publishing tools, such as Adobe
Illustrator, Photoshop and Inkscape.
• A strong eye for visual composition and color sense.
• Effective communication skills.
• Must work well with a team.

Role Description - Video Specialist
We are looking for a Video Specialist to join our media team. You will provide technical services to
assist the TPO and with multimedia projects, video production.

As a Video Specialist you will have the opportunity to showcase your creative expertise, strong
technical skills, and produce engaging videos that help showcase why UVCE is recognized as an
industry leader. If you’re familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we’d like
to meet you. Commitment and punctuality are qualities that are non-negotiable. Feel free to share
samples of your work or portfolio of your published articles, along with your application.

As video has become the best way for communicating TPO UVCE's messages on online platforms,
your position will play an important role in our online presence.

Ultimately, as a Video Specialist, you should have the ability spear head video production activities
from on-site shoot to the final cut in post.

Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of production including but not limited to shooting, editing, sound
mixing, color correction and location scouting.
• Operating audio and video recording equipment, lighting set-up.
• Storyboard development for video content.
• Making the most of the limited resources.

Requirements
• Proficiency with at least one of the required video creation and editing tools, such as Adobe
Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro.
• Experience with any audio editing and mixing tools, such as Audacity, FL Studio and Adobe
Audition, is a good to have.
• Must have a good understanding of cutting to the beat.
• A background in shooting video and operating cameras.
• Must have a strong eye for visual composition.
• Effective communication skills.
• Must work well with a team.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Enthusiasm and a strong sense of responsibility and commitment.
