What is anime?
Anime refers to handdrawn or CGI animation from Japan.

The word is the abbreviated pronunciation of “animation” in Japanese,

where that term refers to any animation, no matter the country. The first
Japanese comercial animations date back to 1917. A characteristic art
style emerged in the 1960s with the works of manga artista “Osamu
Tezuka” and spread in the following decades, developing a large domestic
audience.

The anime industry consists of over 430 production studios, including big
names like Studio Ghibli, Gainax and Toei Animation.

Toei Animation was responsible for making famous anime such as One
Piece, Dragon Ball Super and Digimon Adventure.

With the growing success of Japanese animation, a community of fans

emerged around the world that became known as otaku. The term itself is
the subject of discussions, since in Japan the entry means “lifeless
person”, “person who does nothing”, etc. Many viewers of Anime don’t
consider themselves otaku, preferring to shy away from the controversial
label.
Why i chose this theme

I chose this topic because I think it’s an interesting topic to presente to the
class because many don’t know what anime is and so they get to know
more about it.
The anime teaches many life lessons and gives advice indirectly to people,
such as never giving up on dreams because one day we will able to
achieve them, I give the exemple of the anime Naruto where this
happens. Naruto runs after his dreams even giving him reasons to give up,
he doesn’t give up and manages to achieve what be always wanted.
And I identify a lot with Naruto because even though I feel like I want to
give up, I never give up.
This also happens in the anime One Piece in which the main character
named Luffy runs after being the best pirate of all time, during the 1000
episodes of anime, and he has help from friends like Zoro who has
become the best swordsman in the world thanks to Luffy.
