ANGELY’S MUSICAL MODEL OF COMMUNICATION
Angely’s musical communication model has following
elements;
o Sender/singer
o Message
o Encoding
o Channel
o Decoding
Noise o Receiver
o Feedback
o Noise
Encoding
Decoding It uses music as its main form of communication.
Musical communication model has a two-way
channel but only 1 person can get feedback unlike the
interaction model that has a one-way channel but
both can get or have feedback. It is the process where
Channel 2 or more people communicate to achieve a shared
goal. This process of communication was inspired by
Shannon-Weaver Model.
A sender/musician made a song and upload it on
Spotify. So, the communication here was an example
Sender Receiver of mass communication since it has a large and
anonymous audience. Now, since the song was
Noise uploaded a receiver/listener can now listen to its
message/content of the song. The common barrier
here, is that, they can’t really focus to the music
they’re playing because of the ads that usually pop
up. After listening to it, a receiver can now give
feedback through emotion or they can make a tweet
Feedback or make a post in Instagram about how they really
feel about the impact of music to them. Otherwise, if
it is on a concert scenario, a receiver can stand or clap
for them to give feedback about how they feel and
the impact of music to them.
