When I step out to kick off my internship journey, I knew the experience was going to be different than
anything I had before. But I never guessed how far I would learn beyond the comfort of my abilities or
how many people would guide me along the way. In every undertaking, it will not be possible without
the participation and assistance of numerous people whose name may not all be enumerated but their
contributions are sincerely appreciated and gratefully acknowledged.
However, I would like to express my deep appreciation and indebtedness particularly to my family
members who have supported me to indulge myself on my goals. Their enthusiastic support financially,
morally and spiritually sustained me this far.
To my internship coordinator, Ma’am Rochelle Kathleen Angelica C. Malixi, for being patient and
dedicated in guiding us in this endeavor. Your guidance and advices carried me through different
perspectives in life I will surely hold on to. You never fail to assess my performance and provide
feedback from the assessments which facilitates my professional growth by acknowledging strengths
and identifying performance areas that need improvement.
Maam Candao …Personally, I cannot fathom your dedication in giving formative evaluations on a regular
basis to provide ongoing input and feedback regarding our performance and support the continual
development of our skills and competencies. You introduce us to the realities of our degree and how
flexible we can be in our profession. Given the limited time we had with you and your organization, you
still made sure that we are equipped and experienced not just in the administrative works but within the
community as well.
To my kina sir Antony and others, I am grateful for giving us the opportunity to be involved in the clinical
setting of our degree. I may not have the longest time with the Bahay Maria residents but I am thankful
for the time spent with them. Knowing the stories and experiences of the residents is so hard to swallow
