Sub: Method Statement for 185+15mm flooring works and Rate Quote for Kota

As discussed, we are submitting our method statement for casting concrete floor using
Automatic Laser Guided Flooring System with high output of upto 500 to 600 Sqm per day.

As per our discussion verbally we are assuming that the floor casting works will be executed in
enclosed halls with walls erected.
We will be fixing the channel wherever required.

Method Statement

1. If we get clear space in the halls without any obstacle that may hinder our Laser Auto
Level functionality we will execute the screeding operation, we will fixing channels of
required size wherever necessary to make the thickness of the floor as 200mm for the
designated area for the day which may be around 500 to 600 Sqm.
2. The levels shall be considered as per datum point provided by the client
3. The reinforcement shall be placed after we have installed the channels for the panel as
necessary.
4. Concrete has to be placed in the earmarked panel by dumping or pumping. For speed of
work we prefer the dumping method.
5. The Supplied Concrete Design should be with
a. 120-130 Slump
b. 150 to 180 minutes retention at site
c. Supply 75 to 120 cum per 6 hours without break
6. The initial pour of the concrete will be around 185mm which we will level and screed
using the automatic Laser Screeding system.
7. The top final layer of 15mm which will be having metallic floor hardener, 6mm
downgrade metal (aggregate) and Cement in ratio 2.43 : 36.96 : 9.75 per sqm. This mix
is to be prepared and poured on the freshly screeded concrete surface, then finally

 leveled, screeded and finished using Automatic Laser Screeding System, Ride on
Trowels and suitable tools like bump cutter etc.
8. After initial setting of the concrete Curing, the thin polyethylene sheet is to be laid on the
finished surface to minimize the evaporation and from the next day onwards the water is
sprinkled on the covered surface. This curing is to be done for 7 days.
9. In case dowel plates are needed for certain panel joints, the dowel plates are required to
be installed when the panels are adjoining in absence of a separation wall. The Dowel
Plate will be of size 100mm by 100mm by 6mm and shall be installed at a distance of
450mm center to center.
a. The cost of Dowel Plate including installation per unit shall be Rs 140/

The total cost of above work including

1. Metallic Floor hardener, 6mm downgrade metal / aggregate
2. Polythene Sheet for Curing
3. All the machines and equipments
4. Labour Charges
a. Will be Rs 305/ Per Sqm.
b. GST Extra
c. Rest per tender terms.
5. Validity 30 days from the date of this offer.
