Vistara Wins Big at 2022 World Airline Awards by Skytrax;

Named ‘Best Airline in India and Southern Asia’ second time

Delhi/London, September 23, 2022: India’s finest full-service carrier, Vistara, brings home
stellar laurels by winning the ‘Best Airline in India and Southern Asia’ award for the second
time in a row at the coveted Skytrax World Airline Awards 2022 in London, UK. Vistara was
also awarded the ‘Best Airline Staff Service in India and Southern Asia’ for the fourth
consecutive year, ‘Best Cabin Crew in India and Southern Asia’ for the second time in a row
and ‘Best Business Class in India and Southern Asia’ at the award ceremony.

Vistara was voted for by travellers globally, as the World Airline Awards are based on the world’s
largest airline passenger satisfaction survey of more than 14 million travellers for the period
between September 2021 and August 2022. The airline has moved 8 places up from last year to
reach 20th position worldwide; this marks the entry of the airline in the World’s Top 20 list for
the first time ever. Vistara' also ranked 20 in the list of World's Best Economy Class Airlines
and 9th in the list of Best Airlines in Asia 2022.

THE 2022 WORLD AIRLINE AWARDS

The World Airline Awards are wholly independent and impartial, introduced in 1999 to provide a customer
satisfaction study that was truly global.Travellers across the world vote in the largest airline passenger
satisfaction survey to determine the award winners. The awards are referred to by media around the
world as “the Oscars of the aviation industry”. All costs of the Survey and Awards event are paid by
Skytrax, and airlines do not pay any entry or registration fee. There are no charges for use of the Award
logos and results.The online customer survey operated from September2021 to August 2022, together
with invitations sent to previous year respondents in the survey database. The customer survey is
provided in English, French, Spanish, Russian, Japanese and Chinese. Over 100 customer nationalities
participated in the 2021/2022 survey with 14.32 million eligible entries counted in the results. Survey
entries are screened to identify IP and user information, with all duplicate, suspect or ineligible entries
deleted. More than 300 airlines are featured in the final Award results.
