1. What are the effects of fatty foods to our health?

Fat has good and bad effects for our health. Our body needs fat to help with energy
production, organ protection, cell growth, blood pressure regulation, and nutrition
absorption. But to much intake of fatty foods can cause different diseases such
as increase the risk of heart disease and stroke. Saturated fats is the bad fat that we
avoid eating more often. Saturated fats according to wikipedia is a type of fat in which
the fatty acid chains have all single bonds. A fat known as a glyceride is made of two
kinds of smaller molecules: a short glycerol backbone and fatty acids that each contain
a long linear or branched chain of carbon atoms

2. Discuss the mechanisms of fatty foods in our body.

Fat is absorbed from the intestine in the form of chylomicrons, which are discrete
particles, visible under the microscope. They consist primarily of triglycerides of the
longer fatty acids. The chylomicrons are absorbedvia the lymphatic system, which
ultimately empties into the blood stream. fats are essential to give your body energy
and to support cell function. They also help protect your organs and help keep your
body warm. Fats help your body absorb some nutrients and produce important
hormones, too.
