Avra Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. Chemist [01/2017 to 02/2018]

• Analysis of finished products and intermediates by using analytical instruments GC, and GC-EI-

MS.

• Documentation of analysis.

• Updating of laboratory records.

• Performed standardized tests on organic and inorganic compounds to observe fundamental

differences in the field of wet-lab analysis.


ANALYTICAL & INSTRUMENTAL SKILLS:

Hands-on experience (operational and interpretational) in various spectroscopic techniques.

• Chromatography: Gas Chromatography (GC-FID/TCD), GC-EI-MS (Agilent-7890B and Perkin

Elmer Turbomass). Silica gel column chromatography, and thin layer chromatography.

• Agilent GC (7890B) equipped with FID detector (EZ-chrome software).

Spectroscopy: FT-IR (DRIFTS/Harrick cell), UV-DRS.

Catalyst Evaluation: Expertise in handling lab-scale liquid, gas, and/or vapour phase reactors (fixed

bed and high-pressure reactors).

FIELD OF RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:

• Synthesis of Fine chemicals over heterogeneous catalysts.

• Handling of high-pressure autoclave reactors (Parr, Amar, etc.)

• Investigation of a reaction mechanism.

• Evaluation and optimizing the structure of active catalytic sites.

CATALYST SYNTHESIS:

• Synthesis of supported metal and mixed metal oxide catalysts by various methods

(impregnation, co-precipitation, deposition precipitation, sol-gel, etc.).

• Synthesis of silica and Aluminium based heterogeneous supported catalysts (MCM-41 and SBA-

15, etc.) by sol-gel and hydrothermal methods (controlling the pore size and acidity).
