1. Give the seven pillars that contributes social hindrances in teaching and learning.

 Intrapersonal or Intellectual factor

 Learning factor
 Physical factor
 Mental factor
 Emotional factor
 Teachers’ personalities
 Environmental factor

2. In connection to the question number 1, explain each factor.

 Intrapersonal or Intellectual factor - This refers to the individual ways that people learn.
Your school's success is usually related to your IQ or your level of intellect. People with low
IQs tend to have more difficulty in mastering their studies. People may get bad scores because
they have identified or unidentified cognitive disabilities. For example, if you score poorly in
one subject but better in others, you might have a problem in a specific area of learning. If you
score poorly in all subjects, it might be a matter of having a low IQ so that learning can be
difficult.

 Learning factor - You may not have gained mastery over things that have been taught to you
because you do not have the proper ways of retaining the information that has been taught to
you. It is important to teach things in ways that the vast majority of students can catch on to
the material being taught. For example, if the school is teaching things too quickly and doesn't
check to make sure you are actually learning the material, you may fall behind and will not
have the opportunity to catch up.

 Physical factor - This includes things such as your overall health, nutrition, hearing and
physical deficiencies, glandular problems, and physical development. If you are in poor
health, you won't be able to learn the things presented to you in school. This is one of the
factors affecting learning that most people underestimate. For example, you have a child that
is suffering from a hearing problem, vision problem, or other physical handicap, they will
have difficulty in learning things like spelling and reading.

 Mental factor - Attitude falls under mental factors. They are not to be confused with
emotions that are characterized by internal visceral disturbances. Attitudes are more or less of
a definite sort. They play a large part in the mental organization and general behavior of the
individual.
 Emotional factor - Things like social factors, instincts, and emotions can relate directly to
your motivation for learning. If you cooperate with others and engage in some healthy rivalry,
you will learn faster and have more fun learning new things. The students may, for example,
not like a particular subject because they don't see it as valuable or may not have the
foundation to really learn the subject. This can negatively affect the students' emotional state.

 Teachers’ personalities - Each teacher has his or her own personality that can strongly affect
the individual's learning environment. The success or failure of the student can depend on the
teacher's personality. The teacher's personality may mesh or not mesh with the student's
personality and will affect how the student is taught. For example, if the teacher and student
do not get along, the student may refuse to learn from the teacher, and learning will not
happen. They don't have to like each other, but they should at least respect one another.
 Environmental factor - You need to have the proper environmental conditions in order to
learn. The classroom must be conducive to good learning, and the texts, equipment, and
school supplies must be of good quality so that the student can learn as easily as possible.
These are factors affecting learning in just about any environment.

3. What do you consider to be the most significant socialization agencies that influenced your
development? Explain
For me, my family is the most important socialization agent that influenced my development. My
mother, father, siblings, and grandparents, as well as extended family members, were the first people
who helped me develop my accepted societal behavioral patterns. Because the most important role in
the formation of personality is played by the family. A child’s family lays the foundation for all
future socialization, which is why the family remains the most important agent of socialization. Our
family members are our first teachers in life and they are the greatest influencers in our lives. For
example, I can say that they influenced me to become a better person in multiple ways. They helped
me to learn from my mistakes and to become stronger. We gain our morality from what they teach
us. And I am thankful to them because I have learned how to accept myself and have become a more
open and friendly person. Because, as they say, the people with whom you spend the most time
shape who you are. And that is my family.

4. What is the impact of media on school and culture?

The 21st century brought the advent of media, which has changed people’s lives. Social
media is software, networking instruments, and Internet platforms that are used for a variety of
purposes, such as content sharing and creation, communication, and collaboration. Different media
presents a huge opportunity for schools, universities and other educational organizations to reach out
and connect with students and prospective students. With no doubt, social media has influenced the
way students are educated today. For those of you who do not know the exact definition of social
media, the social media means ways of sharing information, opinions, images, videos using the
Internet, especially social networking app and site like Facebook, messenger, and twitter. Because of
the Internet, people started finding ways to socialize through social websites and exchange
information. Popular social network on the Internet such as YouTube became a sensation for me ever
since I became a student in college.
Today social media can be used for educational purposes. The ways social media is changing
education has affected how the students express themselves, behave, and interact with each
other. Not only students will be affected by the idea of social media as an educational tool, but
teachers as well. For students, social media can act as a distraction to cure the boredom. As for
teachers, they will slowly start to lose the leadership role in a classroom if social media is being used.
Now that society is becoming more technology based, the education world will slowly start to lose
the face to face communication and lose control of the classroom. This can result in the loss of
educational learning if social media takes over the classroom setting. Advanced technologies of
communication have brought influences and impacts on cultures. There are views that the influences
and impacts are brought forward by social media, which has been a powerful tool that can affect and
form human behavior as well as culture.

5. What do you think is the role and importance of stakeholders in developing culture, education
and community?
Stakeholders in education include both those who are directly involved, such as parents,
teachers, and students, and those indirectly impacted, like government officials and local business
leaders, by the success or failure of an educational system. All members of a community are
stakeholders in education. Each stakeholder in education plays a unique role and can help increase
support for educational goals. Stakeholder involvement in education plays an important part, as the
purpose of each stakeholder is to achieve a common educational goal through team effort. When
multiple stakeholders are engaged, the team effort increases the chances of success in achieving
these goals. Therefore, a team effort on the part of stakeholders is involved in achieving educational
goals. For example, teachers play an important role as stakeholders in education. They have a vested
interest in ensuring that students are learning, as their jobs depend on their success. They also have
personal accountability in knowing what to teach and how to teach in order for their students to best
learn the material within their classroom. And teachers also can supplement learning beyond
teaching by encouraging student involvement in programs and incorporating supporting materials
within the classroom.
