1. Stanza V It is said that love can still be advised or prevented when it is new, but when your love or
affection for someone grows stronger, nothing or no one can stop you. Don't focus on emotions while you're
still young, because they will change. Love can be found if you are of the right age and at the right time.

2. Stanza VI When a person falls in love, he is ready to take on all the hardships and even the allies that
endanger him. Sometimes he is willing to sacrifice his own life just to protect his loved one. It is about
sacrificing.

3. Stanza VII When a person falls in love, he is ready to sacrifice, humble himself, and be tolerant of the
one he loves. Sometimes what he can't do he can do, and what he can't stand is what he endures for his
beloved. When loving someone you are ready to embrace the pain.

4. Stanza VIII The eighth stanza expresses love for a friend. The statements show that he does not want to
hurt his friend, so he gives him advice about the woman he loves. It is about giving advice to someone about
entering to a relationship.

5. Stanza IX It implies giving advice to each other, especially to young people nowadays. It compares what
love can do to human life. It can ruin the future of a creature. Love brings deliciousness, but let’s not forget
not to send too much into the fury of emotions and desires to avoid the pain that always accompanies it.

6. How important is Romantic Poetry in nurturing Philippine Literature?

Romantic poetry allows Filipino gentlemen to value Philippine literature because it symbolizes our
culture. It helps them use this literature in courtship or when they want to express their feelings. Some of
our ancestors used romantic poetry when they confessed their feelings. And they use that kind of poetry as
part of our Philippine literature.
