WHEEL and TIRE ASSEMBLY DESIGN AND SELECTION

Wheels and tyre assy is the important part of the trolley cart. The trolley cart wheel and tire assembly
consists of the hub, disc or spokes, rim, tyre & tube.The trolley cart can’t move on the road without wheels
assy . The wheels are legs of the cart that carry it to a distance. The support of the whole weight of the cart
load & convert rotary motion into longitudinal one.The wheel also resists side force created by turning
also absorb the road shocks.
 Wheel assembly is a very crucial system in a vehicle as its transfer forces come from the ground through the tire
when the vehicle hits any bump or pothole on the road. Also the first part comes in contact when getting impacted
from the side of the vehicle.Therefore any failure in Wheel assembly may lead to the breakdown of the trolley cart.
which could also harm human life and the product transported.

To design and select this we sholud take in to account the following points:

1-weight of the trolley cart

2-coefficient of friction

3-weight distribution

4-wheel base

5- Tire Specification:  like Rim diameter, speed limit,hub diameter....

6- Mounted or remove easily
