Mr. Vicencio is a permanent employee of ABC Company located here in the Philippines,
he has been holding the position of Systems and Data Encoder, he is a graduate of
Nursing at Sta. Mesa University holds also a PRC licensure in Nursing. After 2 years serving
in the company Mr. Vicencio married, and decided to resign and to move and live in Dubai
to be with his wife who is working there. Unfortunately, after 3 months staying in Dubai,
the pandemic struck the economy of the country, and Mr. Vicencio had a hard time
applying for the job that was promised to him by an employer. The following year, Mr.
Vicencio was forced to return to the Philippines to seek employment to help in his financial
necessities, he tried applying numerous and different opportunities that was available but
to no avail. Finally, he tried to apply again to his former work and position at ABC
Company.

Question:

1. As a Human Resource Manager will you accept Mr. Vicencio’s application? Why or
why not?
2. If you give an opportunity of employment to Mr. Vicencio will he be subjected to
undergo the same process of an newly hired applicant? Explain.
3. If accepted for employment, can Mr. Vicencio get his former position in the
company? Why or why not?
