1. In the figure shown, the potential difference between points A and B is

(A) 10V (B) 30V (C) 7.5V (D) none

2. The potential of the point A is greater than that of B by 19 volt. What is the potential difference in volts
across the 3F capacitor ?

(A) 7 (B) 8 (C) 23 (D) 4

3. In four options below, all the four circuits are arranged in order of equivalent capacitance. Select the
correct order. Assume all capacitors are of equal capacitance.

(A) C1  C2  C3  C 4 (B) C1  C3  C 2  C 4

(C) C1  C2  C3  C 4 (D) C1  C3  C 2  C4
4. Four capacitors are connected as shown in figure to a 30 V battery. The potential difference between
points b and a is :

(A) 5 V (B) 9 V (C) 10 V (D) 13 V

5. Three identical capacitors each with a capacitance of C are connected as shown in the following figure.
What would be the total equivalent capacitance of the circuit across terminals of the battery ?

` (A) 0.33 C (B) 0.67 C (C) 1 C (D) 1.5 C

6. Three very large identical metal plates are given charges as shown. The final charge on left surface of
IInd plate is found to be NQ. Find out the value of N.

7. A capacitor is to be designed to operate, with constant capacitance, even when temperature varies. The
distance between plates is adjusted by spacer to compensate temperature effect. Let 1 and  2 be the
