My Takeaways
Trees are beautiful they deserves to
remain in our planet!
Republic Act No. 10176 (Arbor day law of 2012
Mandates that "everyone of ages 12 and above are obligated to plant and
maintain the life of tree every year." This law is one of the best law implemented,
this will be the best avenue to encourage everyone to combat the dilemma in
climate change, not because we are obligated but because of our own and the
futures generation's sake.
It was said by the researchers that climate change approaches on 120 years ago,
this means that our planet started to heat up for a century and a decade; worst things
may happen in the present and counting years if we did not mitigate and do actions
to prevent worst cases that are possible to happen in our planet that is our source of
life.

As Engr. Danilo Cea have said, "we the Civil Engineers and as a member of the society
as well plays an important role in in protecting our environment." As a student of BS Civil
Engineering , I believe that we must be the one to help and think of ways to build
infrastructures that will not as well affect the trees as it has an enormous help even in rainy
or sunny weather. Building an eco/ tree friendly infrastructure is an instance of how we the
civil engineers can help in environmental defense.

Even though you do not have any title, or just a simple citizen,
you may take part of helping healing our planet by joining
environmental initiatives or by simply planting a single tree.

"The best way to plant trees is 20 years ago. The second-

best time is now."
This quote inspires me to initiate actions to help heal our planet. As an
environmental defense advocate, I would like to use my influence as a
member and as a Director for communication of BU UNESCO CLUB to
encourage every BUeños to plant even a single tree, because I believe that
every small and single actions could result ro a holistic change -- a change
that is not just beneficial to us but as well to the future generations.
