Scene 5:
Narrator Jesús: The people were convinced by the Mayor´s words.
Even after long discussions, they couldn´t find a solution to the
problem. Suddenly, there came a knocking on the door.
Lord Mayor Rodrigo: Come in.
Narrator Jesús: A man entered the room. The strangest man was
wearing a peculiar long coat, having half part red and half part
yellow, and a red hat.
Madame Mayor Aleyda: Who are you?
Pied Piper Emiliano: People call me The Pied Piper. I have a secret
charm to summon all creatures on the Earth, even rats.
Madame Mayor Aleyda: Rats? You can summon rats? But how do
we believe you?
Pied Piper Emiliano: I freed people of Africa from some huge gnats.
I go around the world to rescue people from creatures.
Lord Mayor Rodrigo: Ok. Show us your charm and free us from
these rats.
Pied Piper Emiliano: Ok Sir. But for that, would you give me a
thousand cents?
Lord Mayor Rodrigo: Yes of course. Anything you want. You may
start the work now.

in the city square, the man began to play the pipe. Magically, rats
from all over the city began to follow him.

river. The people of Hamelin were enjoying the sight with the eyes
and mouth wide open.
Citizens: Wow! Haaaa! Hooo!
Scene 7:

stood on it playing the pipe. Rats fell into the river and drowned
one by one. Soon there were no rats on the bank. Hamelin was
freed from rats.
Citizens: Huraay! Huraay! No more rats! No more rats!
Scene 8:
Narrator Julieta: Soon the Pied Piper went to the Mayor for his
reward.
Pied Piper Emiliano: I have done my job! Give me the price.
Lord Mayor Rodrigo: You did a wonderful job but a thousand cents
for a couple of hours is not worth it. It´s a big amount to pay.
Pied Piper Emiliano: You are breaking your promise.
Lord Mayor Rodrigo: I can pay you a hundred cents.
Pied Piper Emiliano: This isn´t right!
4
Madame Mayor Aleyda: Take this money or leave the town.
Scene 9:
Narrator Jesús: The Piper left the hall and came to the street and
began to play the pipe again. But this time the tune was different.
One by one the children turned their head and started to walk
towards the Piper.
Children: Yippee! Yeah! (dance, clap, smile, enjoy the music).
Narrator Julieta: The children followed him. The parents and
guardians were stunned with the tune and couldn´t move from
their places. The Pied Piper walked across the river bridge and
marched towards the mountain.
Scene 10
Narrator Julieta: As he reached the mountain, a mysterious portal
opened in the mountain. The Piper went inside and the children
followed him. He then closed the cave with a huge stone.
Only one kid was left. A girl who had hurt her leg so badly couldn´t
reach before it got closed. As the tune stopped, the people ran
towards the mountain. They found only one child and they asked
her where the other children were.
Girl Vanessa: They all went into a portal.
Citizen Angelique: But why you all were following him?
Girl Vanessa: The tone promised us a wonderland full of candies,
chocolates, cookies and cakes grew on trees.
Narrator Jesús: The people felt sad and started crying for their
children.
5
Citizens: Oooh my child! Come back! Aaaah! (crying)
Narrator Jesús: They called the mayor and blamed him for
everything.
Citizens: It´s your fault! Do something!
Madame Mayor Aleyda: I have lost my child too.
Lord Mayor Rodrigo: I´m sorry for everything. Please Pied Piper I
will pay you but give us back our children!
Narrator Jesús: Pied Piper came out from the mountain.
Madame Mayor Aleyda: We are glad you came back. Where are
our kids?
Pied piper Emiliano: They are all safe and happy. They will come
back once you fulfill your promise.
Narrator Julieta: The mayor gave him the money and immediately
the portal opened and children came out running and hugged their
parents
Lord Mayor Rodrigo: Pied Piper I thank you for rescuing us from
the rats and giving back our children. I will never break a promise in
the future.
Pied Piper Emiliano: You all will lose your children and the rats will
also come back.
Citizens: What? Why?
Pied Piper Emiliano: Your city is so unclean. This attracts rats and
insects. They will spread diseases in your town and soon your kids
will be sick. This will cause to lose them.
