1 REGISTER YOUR E-MAIL

1. The entrance to the virtual world of the Goethe Institute is the Log-in button at
www.goethe.de.

This button will take you to the screen for registering and logging in. When you visit the page
for the first time, click on the Register button.

2. Enter your email address, your (personal, chosen by you) password and country here.
Read the 'Terms' and 'Privacy Policy'. If you agree with its content, click on Register to end
the process.

Hint
Please use the same e-mail address, which you used to sign up for the course.

3. Check your inbox for an email with the sender 'noReply-kdf'.

4. Open the email with the heading 'My Goethe.de / activate access' and click on the

confirmation link within.

5. The link will take you back to the login screen. Enter your email address and password, and
then click LOG IN.

2 VERVOLLSTÄNDIGEN SIE IHR PROFIL

To use the products of the Goethe-Institut, you have to complete some personal information in your profile.

Mandatory are

 first name
 family name

You can enter more information voluntarily.

Click again on Mein Goethe.de.

Please click on My profile in the drop down menu.

Now you see My Profile. Edit at least the information in First name and Last name. More information is
optional. Click Save.

If you want, you can set your preferred language at Account settings & privacy.

Choose your Preferred language and click Save.

3 ENTERING THE ONLINE COURSE

If you click Courses …

… you will see the 'Activated Courses' page, with the input field Customer number or
registration code. Enter the registration code you have received from either your teacher
or the language course office.

6. After you have clicked on Send, you will see confirmation of your registration and the link to
your course. Click on the link to enter your online classroom.
