Everyone, especially students, needs to practice good ethics. They can live a fair and

honest life if they have ethics, and their behavior and social abilities will improve as a result.

Some of the core values that a student must have or practice are respect for others, honesty, self-

discipline, hard work, love of learning, and appreciation of diversity. As a student at a Catholic

school, the teachers teach us these principles, which we must follow in our daily lives until we

graduate. Being honest with myself, practicing self-discipline, and respecting my fellow students

are the principles that I live by on a daily basis as a student.

We students are able to broaden our understanding of ethics as a result of the ethics,

sometimes even changing our own values and ethical decision-making process. As a student, you

will benefit from adhering to those principles or ethics. When completing the tasks assigned to

you by your teachers, be true to yourself and show integrity and passion. Preventing something

bad, such as cheating and plagiarism, is simple if you are honest and passionate about what you

do. Many students are attempting and engaging in these bad behaviors in this pandemic because

they believe it will make their studies easier and faster. However, as a result of what they've

done, their future may be difficult.

Ethical behavior can be achieved by exercising good manners and right conduct at such a

young age. However, in the midst of a pandemic where social distancing and online classes exist,

how can a student be still ethically sensitive? The first thing a student must do is to be more

attentive during class hours since it will be difficult for your teacher to ensure that you are

receiving the lessons that he/she was nurturing. Second, be more cooperative with your class

activities, because it will not only help you understand the lessons effectively, it will also help

your teacher acquire the assurance that you learn something from them.
In becoming a socially responsible student in this time of pandemics/amidst pandemic,

one must know that it is important to know the difference between right and wrong in the

internet. We, as students, often believe in anything we saw on the internet without fact-checking.

By spreading this false news, we are only letting people around us believe in false information,

and possibly live in an erroneous or even a dangerous environment. One must know that in

becoming a socially responsible student, we must take great care of other people by sharing

information that would help them, rather than, understate them as humans.

I can also be a socially responsible student by engaging and promoting good health,

environmental sustainability, and calling out many other issues. The most important thing about

being socially responsible is being socially aware. I can manage to pull off these goals by means

of education. Educating oneself can help improve one's mindset to reflect about different ideas

that could bring change for the world. It could also help in bringing development not only in the

present, but in the future generation.
