1.All-Purpose Hair-cutting shears are
Shears scissors that are specifically
designed for cutting hair.
They are also known as
barber shears, hairdressing
shears, or hair shears.

2. Blending Shears A blending or thinning shear

typically has evenly spaced
teeth on one side and a
straight blunt blade on the
other. It is used to remove
weight and yes, blend the
hair!

3. Blow Dryer A handheld device

that blows air and is used
for drying and usually
styling hair.

4. Curling Iron A rod-shaped usually metal

instrument which is heated
and around which a lock of
hair to be curled or waved is
wound.

5. Razor A razor cut is a ladies haircut

done with a straight edge
razor blade that results in
wispy strands with thinner
ends.

6. Paddle Brush A paddle brush is a large, flat

and wide hair brush with an
air-filled cushion and has
plastic bristles, which helps
it bend and move to the
contours of your head. It's
this flexibility that means it's
perfect for detangling and
smoothing out hair.
7.The Right Combs Combs can be used for many
purposes. Historically, their
main purpose was securing
long hair in place, decorating
the hair, matting sections of
hair for dreadlocks, or
keeping a kippah or skullcap
in place. In Spain, a peineta
is a large decorative comb
used to keep a mantilla in
place.
8. Sectioning Clips Sectioning clips are tools
used by professional
