CONCLUSION
Infographics are beneficial for presenting data because they are clear,
effective, and can be used to show information in an artistic manner without
losing the viewer's interest. In this fast-paced, modern age, people are
inundated with information every day, and attention spans are decreasing by
the second. Unfathomable amounts of data are stored online and organized for
analyzing and reporting purposes. It can be difficult for people to navigate
through countless lines of numbers and statistics, whether it be online or in an
excel sheet. Infographics are used as a powerful tool to allow people to easily
digest information through the use of visual data, charts, and statistics. With
the proper use of color, proportion, and negative space, information can be
transformed into memorable, attention-grabbing, and even persuasive
graphics.

SKILL
VALUES
1. I can use my knowledge to promote ethics in image manipulation by
ensuring that the picture I edit does not affect its meaning or mislead people in
any manner. As the phrase goes, "a camera may never lie, but digital editing
software can and often does." Therefore, it should not be deceiving and should
be as close to the original as possible. It is fine to use basic tools and
techniques such as cropping and modest color correction, adjusting highlights
and shadows, and using the burn tool in a subtle way, as long as they are used
moderately and lightly. Meanwhile, the addition or removal of a detail from an
image, cloning or healing of an image, painting or airbrushing of an image, and
excessive color tone change of an image are all considered unethical because
any technique that can alter the original image or scene captured by the
camera is considered unethical. On the other hand, ethical approaches to
image manipulation may help us positively affect the world beyond our
screens. Images have a large influence on how we see the world. When we take
and share images, we influence how others see the world. This is both an
incredible privilege and a great responsibility. With the prevalence of image
manipulation in our daily lives, it is easy to overlook the power of raw
photographs. Nonetheless, as writer and curator Marvin Heiferman puts it,
"photo manipulation changes everything in its path." When we take an ethical
approach to manipulation, we increase our awareness of the impact we have on
the world through the pictures we produce, and we are better able to focus on
our impact in a meaningful way. Essentially, photographs are intended to
either depict reality or be artistic.
CONCLUSION
PhototoScape is an efficient tool to use since it is feasible for both
beginners and experienced users. It also functions as an open-source photo
editing tool, allowing you to repair and improve photographs. It is an image
editing software that allows users to swiftly modify photographs obtained
using digital cameras or mobile phones. The benefit of using Photoscape
over other image editing programs is that it allows you to not only do
corrective touch-ups (clipping, color and brightness adjustments, and so
forth), but also add text, icons, filters, and a variety of other effects.
Additionally, picture upgrades such as color changing, cropping, resizing,
printing, and GIF animation may be accomplished quickly and easily using
PhotoScape's simple user interface.
