1. Which Windows interface is used for advanced management and troubleshooting of


devices?
 The Device Manager is where you go for advanced management, such as updating
drivers, uninstalling devices, and gathering additional troubleshooting information.
2. What do you need to know to connect to a device that is configured over the network?
 Typically, the Internet Protocol (IP) address of its management page. Several
devices might use a name to locate the page. Though, you might be asked for a user
name and password.
3. True or false? If you want to configure the DPI of a display device, you would do so via
the Personalization app.
 False – Dot Per Inch (DPI) is configured through Display properties. Whereas,
Personalization is employed to customize themes and the appearance of the
desktop.
4. You are configuring dual monitors positioned side-by-side. You want to increase the
amount of screen space available. Which multiple display option should you set?
 Extend the displays – This component allows you to manage screen space and
outlook two or more program simultaneously, one on every monitor.
5. You need to plug a microphone into a computer to make a recording. How would you

 First, look at the port’s color; it should be pink. In several cases, there are symbols
for each sound port that indicate its usage. If neither is present, check the system
documentation.

 Laser printer – It works by fixing a fine powder called toner to the page surface. The

resulting in a long-lasting print that does not smear or fade.

 Optical Character Recognition (OCR) – This software converts a letter or text image
into a computer-editable document.
12. True or false? If your PC does not have a flash memory card reader, you should be able
to connect the camera itself to the PC over USB to copy images off the card.
 True – The camera needs to be connected through USB to copy images off the card.
