Center, where health benefits are granted 24 hours a day to patients who demand
immediate attention. According to their Complexity Level, they can resolve different
categories of damage.

Encephalogra – encefalograma: is a test that measures electrical activity in the


brain using small metal discs (electrodes) placed on the scalp. Neurons in the brain
communicate through electrical impulses and are active all the time, even while
you sleep.

Emergency – emergencia: It is an out of control situation that occurs due to the


impact of a disaster or it can also be when there is an immediate threat to life and
health.

F:

Fever – fiebre: Increase in body temperature above normal, which is accompanied


by an increase in heart and respiratory rate, and manifests the body's reaction to
some disease.

Food Poisoning – comida envenenada: illness caused by bacteria or other


toxins in food, typically with vomiting and diarrhea.

Fracture – fractura: it is a break, usually in a bone. If the broken bone breaks the
skin, it is called an open or compound fracture. Fractures usually occur due to car
accidents, falls, or sports injuries.

G:

Gallbladder - La vesícula: It is an organ that forms a small and closed


compartment, separated from the cytoplasm by a lipid bilayer just like the cell
membrane. Vesicles store, transport, or digest cellular products and debris.

Gastritis – gastritis: is an inflammation of the lining of the stomach. Weakness or


injury to the mucosal barrier that protects the stomach wall allows digestive juices
to damage and inflame the stomach lining.

Gauze – gasa: it is a mesh, with more or less threads. There are meshes for this
process of many types of threads used. Cotton gauze has traditionally been used
in compresses and bandages to cover and protect wounds.
H:

Heart attack – ataque al corazón: A heart attack occurs when an artery that
carries blood and oxygen to the heart becomes blocked. Fatty deposits, which
contain cholesterol, build up over time and form plaques in the arteries of the heart.
If a plaque deteriorates, a blood clot can form.

Hemorrhage – hemorragia: is blood loss. It can be external or inside the body.


You may bleed from a cut or wound. It can also occur when you suffer an injury to
an internal organ

Headache – dolor de cabeza: It is a pain or discomfort in the head, scalp or neck.


Serious causes of headaches are rare. Most people with headaches can feel much
better by making lifestyle changes, learning ways to relax, and sometimes taking
medicine.
