MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR

SUBJECT: ISSUANCE OF DEMONSTRATION/PROPAGATION TEST

PERMIT

Pursuant to the provision of Act No. 3846, as amended and in order to give the
opportunity to public and private network users to select the most appropriate radio
equipment, and for the purpose of determining the technical capability or performance of
radio systems or equipment, feasibility or certain path links and radio networks,
Demonstration/Propagation Test Permit may be authorized in accordance with the
following guidelines.

1. The frequencies assigned for the purpose are:

a. 5467.50 KHz / 10187.50 KHz

b. 38.375 MHz / 39.380 MHz
c. 142.800 MHz / 148.930 MHz
d. 163.950 MHz / 225.850 MHz
e. 484.000 MHz / 497.900 MHz
f. 860.000 MHz / 904.00 MHz
g. 1810.00 MHz / 2120.00 MHz
h. Other frequency/ies that may be authorized by the Commission

2. Demonstration/Propagation Test Permit shall be issued on a non-exclusive and

non-interference basis upon request of the duly authorized representative for a
period not to exceed thirty (30) days and automatically recalled thereafter.
3. No demonstration/propagation test shall be conducted without having first
obtained the necessary Permit form this Commission

This Circular shall take effect 22 October 1992 and it supersedes any circular, order or
instruction or part thereof, which is inconsistent herewith.
