Bill McCall and I drove to the USC campus together. Barry Galvin had flown in from San Francisco and with Larry, was already waiting for Bill and me in the courtyard next to the University Club. Also there was Larry's brother Dennis, whom some Wildcats may remember. Dennis, in Chicago, and I, in Pasadena, were employed by the same Seattle-based company in the early '70s, so we had much to discuss in addition to Larry's incredible career. It was a very powerful and emotionally-charged event. Pictures are courtesy Larry's sister Sharon Samuelson and her husband Scott.
