Paper Mache Egg Tutorial

Main Activity: Group work

Balloon
1. Cut lots of strips of newspapers 1-
2″ wide.

2. Blow up your balloons.

3. Mix one bottle of glue with 1/3 cup
warm water. Then dip each strip in
the glue and rub any excess glue
on the side of your bowl.
Students will do work by following the Glue
teacher’s step by step instructions.

4. Just start covering your balloons Paint

with one layer of glue and
newspapers.

5. Try to keep newspaper strips as

smooth as possible.

6. We let each layer dry over night.
