Abstract
In the face of an increasingly competitive level of competition, companies are trying to improve product quality
by reducing the number of defective products that occur during the production process. In producing a product, it
is necessary to guide and label the product in order to make it easier for consumers to find information about the
product. In order to facilitate the installation of the sticker label, a sticker machine design product was made, in
this case 3 sticker machine design products were made which were then compared using the Fishbone, NGT, and
5W+1H methods. The results of the study obtained suggestions and improvements aimed at improving the design
of the sticker machine product.

The methods used in the research are:

a. Collecting data by conducting observations,
interviews and documentation (Dewi & Ummah,
2019).
b. Perform data processing from the data collected
(Adyatama & Handayani, 2018).
c. Conducting analysis by looking for the factors
causing the problem using fishbone diagram tools,
looking for the dominant problem causing factors
using the nominal group technique (NGT) tools,
planning proposed improvements using the 5W+IH
tools.
