Terms and Conditions


The admissions would be subject to the following terms:
1. Admissions shall be granted only to the students who successfully complete the application form online and pay the necessary
application fees.
2. There is a common application form for all the courses offered by the university. You can apply to more than one institution / course by
selecting from the options.
3. You will be required to upload various documents as mentioned in the form. If you don’t have any documents required to be uploaded,
the same shall be submitted by you at the time of the confirmation of provisional admission.
4. Provisional Admission shall be offered based on the following:
a. Your SSC (Grade 10) score
b. Your HSC (Grade 12) score based on self-assessment (You will input the score that you expect to get in HSC)
c. In case you have passed the HSC (Grade 12) prior to 2020, for each preceding year, your eligibility will be derived after deducting 2%
per each preceding year while granting the admissions.
d. The admission shall be offered subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria laid out in each institute / programme brochure.
5. Admission offered shall be confirmed provisionally by payment of fees as per the merit/cut off decided by each institution.
6. The admission is provisional and subject to submission and verification of documents uploaded by you as well as submission of your
HSC (Grade 12) result, attempt certificate, one valid proof of birth record and photograph.
7. If you don’t achieve the HSC Score equal to or more than the merit/cut off of the programme you are admitted to, the University
reserves its right to cancel your provisional admission and refund your fees.
8. The university reserves its rights to withdraw the provisional admission any time before confirmation without citing any reasons
thereof.
9. The fee refund policy shall be strictly as per University / UGC guidelines.
10. If you are applying under reserved categories (viz. SC, ST, SEBC, PH, Sports, EWS, J&K etc.) you are required to upload the documents
applicable as per UGC/Government/University norms. If you don’t have any of these documents, you must submit them to the
university before the final confirmation of admission; failing which the provisional admission granted will be cancelled.
11. If you studied in board for your Grade 12/ equivalent in other than Gujarat Board or Central Board, you would need to obtain
Provisional Eligibility Certificate (PEC) from the GLS University subject to which your admission shall be confirmed.
12. In case of intermittent lockdowns or closure of academic institutions due to Covid-19, the university shall conduct a large part of its
academic activities online. In such exceptional circumstances, you undertake to participate in all academic delivery remotely till the
situation is normalized.
13. As a student of the university, you undertake to follow all the applicable norms, regulations, rule and advisories issued by the
university, local, municipal, state or central government as well as competent regulatory authorities with regards to maintaining
hygiene as well as social distancing norms on the university campus as well as off-the-campus in pursuits of your academic work and
the university under no circumstances would be held responsible or accountable in any way for any loss or harm in this regard.
14. All the above terms and conditions as well as the provisional admission is subject to UGC and/or government approvals or guidelines
and are subject to change as per the further directives issued by such competent authorities from time to time.
15. In case of any conflict or dispute regarding the admission or any other issues related to the same, the decision of GLS University shall be
final and irrevocable.
16. By proceeding further and applying for admission to GLS University, you declare that all the information submitted by you is true and
to the best of your knowledge. Any misrepresentation or false information and false/misleading/forge documents/mark sheets would
lead to the cancellation of provisional/confirmed admission. In such circumstances, no fees shall be refunded.
17. GLS University reserves all rights to transfer any of the programme or your seating/academic arrangements in any of the
existing/proposed buildings within the GLS campus throughout your programme duration.
