RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE REGISTRATION AGREEMENT

1. If each and any of the instalments are not paid in accordance with the
schedule provided on the Registration Form overleaf, the University of
Nicosia reserves the right to cancel the student’s registration and
prohibit the Student from attending any classes offered at the University
and/or participating in any of the University’s activities. Despite such
cancellation of registration, the Student remains liable to pay the tuition
and fees in accordance with the provisions of the ‘Refund Schedule’, as
shown below.
2. If any instalment amount is not paid in accordance with the schedule
referred to overleaf, but delayed payments are made, the University
may in its sole discretion (and without prejudice to its right to cancel
the Student’s registration in accordance with clause 1 hereinabove),
accept such delayed payments, on the condition that the Student pays
interest at the rate of 4% on the total overdue balance, until final
payment of all overdue amounts.
3. Without prejudice to clauses 1 and 2 hereinabove, the University of
Nicosia may refuse enrolment into the next semester of any Student
who has outstanding financial obligations with the University. Such
a Student will not be entitled to receive any grades, transcripts or other
documents from the University.
4. Students cannot drop or withdraw from a course(s) by merely
stopping attendance.
Students can drop a course(s) free of charge during the add/drop
period of each Semester/Session. Students can either drop a course(s)
online or by informing an academic advisor. After the add/drop
period students are liable on the full tuition of the courses registered.
5. Cancellation of tuition (refund) applies in the case of termination
of studies in accordance with the refund schedule below and provided
the students inform their academic advisor in writing. The termination
date will be considered to be the date on which the written notification
is received. Apart from tuition, all other fees (i.e. Application fee,
Registration fee, Insurance fee, Activities fee, Technology fee, etc.)
are NOT refundable.
6. This Agreement shall be deemed to have been made in the Republic
of Cyprus and the construction, validity, and performance of the
Agreement shall be governed in all respects by the Laws of
the Republic of Cyprus.
7. Any dispute, difference, question or matter which may arise at any time
hereinafter between the parties hereto, touching the true construction
of this Agreement or the rights and liabilities of the parties hereto, shall
be decided in the Republic of Cyprus by a competent Court to the
exclusion of any other jurisdiction. Provided that the University of
Nicosia are plaintiffs they may, in their sole discretion and at their
option, bring proceedings against the Student in the Court of the place
where the Student resides and/or carries on business.
8. The Student will be liable for all costs, including legal, court, agency
and collection fees and charges reasonably incurred by the University
for the collection of any amount owed by the Student to the University
and not paid when due.
9. The student is notified about the present Rules and Regulations, through
this Registration Form, which forms an integral part of the contractual
and/or other relationship between the Student and the University. The
refund provisions contained in the regulations and outlined in this page
can be also found on the University’s website at unic.ac.cy.

* For international/Non EU students, in case the visa is approved and the student decides not to proceed with his/her registration, an amount of €500 will be deducted
as non-refundable.
No refund of tuition will be made for whatever reason, for students who have been expelled, dismissed, suspended for disciplinary reasons, or denied visa on the basis
of fake documents.
In exceptional cases, any student credit balances (that relate to Non-Refundable Fees) can be used against future tuition, at the absolute discretion of the University and
provided this occurs within the next 2 semesters following withdrawal from courses. It is noted that student credit balances are NOT transferable to other student accounts,
either current or future.
