source?

➢ Primary sources can be described as those sources that are closest to the
origin of the information. They contain raw information and thus, must be
interpreted by researchers. Secondary sources are closely related to
primary sources and often interpret them.

2. Why is primary source important in the study of history?

➢ Primary sources are valuable to historians because they give insight into
the ways in which historical figures understood or internalized what they
experienced, their place or significance in history, and give historians an
understanding of historical figures' opinions.

3. What is the purpose of a secondary source?

➢ Secondary sources are works that analyze, assess or interpret an


historical event, era, or phenomenon, generally utilizing primary sources to
do so. Secondary sources often offer a review or a critique. Secondary
sources can include books, journal articles, speeches, reviews, research
reports, and more.

4. At present, how do you discriminate between contradicting reports of a


single event from different sources?

➢ In this time, many information are not as reliable as it should be. I


discriminate information by checking who published the sources, the
purpose of the sources, when it was created updated, and its content.

5. Why should official records of the government be made accessible to the


public?

➢ My answer is for transparency. Official government records should be


made public too the every citizen it is the constitutional right every
citizen to access official government records for any reason, ranging
from investigation and even keeping in touch.
